Ana Hammock is the Chief Operating Officer at Ascendus, a national CDFI that empowers business owners with access to capital and financial education. Ana has led the organizations programmatic strategy for over a decade.  Ana is an advocate for community-owned and operated businesses. Under her leadership productivity in annual lending has increased twelve times (12x) quintupled (5x) the net asset position of the organization, expanded the service footprint throughout the entire country, successfully transitioned new technology platforms and credit risk scoring models to support lending operations, achieved high portfolio quality with 7.1% cumulative write-offs (versus 8% target), successfully launched several new lending products, and successfully rebranded the entire organization.
