Andrea Levere, Vice Chair

Andrea Levere served as the president of Prosperity Now from 2004 to 2019. She also served as a director at the National Development Council where she structured financing for hundreds of small businesses and created a training program to help entrepreneurs understand and manage their financial issues. In 2013, President Obama appointed Ms. Levere to the National Cooperative Bank’s Board of Directors to represent the interests of low-income consumers. In 2017, Ms. Levere was appointed to the Community Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve System and served as vice chair in 2018 and chair in 2019. She was a member of the FDIC’s Committee on Economic Inclusion, and Morgan Stanley’s Community Development Advisory Board.
